Expectations

The September, 2013 issue of VidaVibe is out and provides official insights to what's coming for we owners of Grand Luxxe Rights to Use Contracts, our guests and our friends who visit the resort via exchanges.

Here's what caught our attention:
  • 2014 is the 40th anniversary for Grupo Vidanta and Mr. Moran's career in construction, development and resort management.
  • The lagoon in front of the Grand Bliss will be a remodeled clear water lagoon.
  • La Plaza will open with:
    • A gourmet food court
    • A French restaurant and bar
    • A ballroom
    • And boutiques.
  • The Grand Luxxe Spa Tower opens
  • And so much more....
Change is good, and change is interesting, especially at Vidanta's Nuevo Vallarta property. One person we spoke with is a Grand Bliss owner. He said the lagoon in front of the Grand Bliss was filled and then emptied during his stay. Below is Actionslax's June, 2013 photo of the lagoon in front of the Grand Bliss.

He said work on La Plaza was going on day and night. The following photos gives us an Google Earth arial view of the property as of May 5, 2013 and a local view of La Plaza on July 1, 2013.

Earth movers continue to move mounds of dirt from one place to another on the north side of Grand Luxxe Towers III A and B and IV A and B. He said he was upgraded to a Luxxe Master Suit, which was beautiful and huge. His only concern is the property is getting to be so large that it is difficult to go anywhere if the shuttles are not working at their peak performance. This issue is a bigger problem during the slow season, when fewer travelers are on the property.

He also said the golf course is in great shape!

The question is what will be "So much more...."? Will the SPA pools be open?
